Straight answers

• If you dial *100#, this is for you. Quick Balance is built around that code and the menus behind it. Another network's codes are different and are not supported.
• It cannot check on its own. Android gives the permission to dial *100# to your tap, not to the app, so there is no background checking and the home screen tile never refreshes by itself. That is why it always tells you how old its figures are.
• It needs a helper switched on. Android has no other way for an app to read a USSD reply on this network, so Quick Balance uses an accessibility service that reads only your phone app's popup. You turn it on once, and the app explains it before it asks. What it reads.
• Your network sometimes just fails. When the gateway answers with an error, the app retries once, then shows you exactly what came back rather than pretending.
• Not affiliated with any mobile network. This is an independent app. It uses the public *100# codes any customer can dial.
